The large upper level low pressure system will continue its very slow trek across the Desert Southwest into the Colorado Rockies. The large moisture plume ahead of the low is slowly approaching far western Kansas, and it still appears the heaviest rainfall for most areas of far southwest and far west central Kansas will be Sunday evening into the late night hours. The chances of at least 1" of rainfall are still quite high out west -- 70-80% chance of occurring generally west of a Hugoton to Ulysses to Lakin line.
